Result The contestants ran out of time on the final clue


Notes
● This was the first “Treasure Hunt” to feature Wincey as adjudicator.
● As usual, the cameraman was Graham Berry and the video engineer was Frank Meyburgh, but the local helicopter was flown by Gadi Lahberg (instead of Keith Thompson).
1 The contestants were slow solving this clue, so the helicopter wasted a lot of time circling Mount Herodion. The pilot prompted Anneka to find out where the contestants wanted him to go:
Anneka: “We must have a decision chaps. We can’t just fly round Mount Herodion all day...”
Liz: “You might have to fly round it all programme!”
Anneka: “Oh, that’d be interesting – we’ve never done that before on a Treasure Hunt.”
Liz: “Well, we only wanted to win £50 anyway.”
Anneka: “Kenneth, do you think we should head to Jerusalem?”
Kenneth: “I thought you were already going there.”
Anneka: “NO! They just wanted us to circle! The rules are: we’re not allowed to move until the contestants tell US, so... Let’s head to Jerusalem...”
